1. Medical Doctor (MD)

(a) Duties and responsibilities To consult patients as per professional and National Guidelines for Clinical Management. Organizing and ensuring medical consultations and treatments are provided as per standards required. Ensuring the implementation and standardization of Peking healthcare clinical policies, tools, and hygiene protocols to minimize clinical risks and to guarantee the quality of patient care management. Promoting and maintaining confidentiality regarding all patient cases and records. Implementing diagnosis, prescription and prevention procedures that fall under the scope of his/her competencies. Asking appropriate questions to patients and following protocols in force as well as using laboratory services, when necessary, in order to ensure

(b) Qualifications and experience

• Holder of Bachelor of medicine from a recognized institution.
• At least three (3) years of experience as a medical doctor.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, general computer applications and Microsoft
  office is required.

2. Radiographer

(a) Duties and responsibilities To perform patients’ radiological examination including x-rays, Ultrasound Scan, CT scan. To keep and maintain patients waiting for seniors to interpret and give radiological results. To provide technical advice on radiation in the Unit. To prepare contrast media and chemicals for radiological examination. To process radiological images To keep and maintain patient’s records. To inform medical physics and engineers on machine faults. To perform any other duties as shall be assigned by superiors.

(b) Qualifications and experience Holder Diploma of radiology from a recognized institution.
At least 3 years of experience as a radiographer. Radiation Safety officer certificate is an added advantage. Proficiency with electronic health record systems, general computer applications and Microsoft office is required.

3.Pharmacy Technician

(a) Duties and Responsibilities, To store medicinal products appropriately and securely to ensure freshness and potency in accordance with good storage practices., To supervise the arrangement of drugs in the stores and ensure general cleanliness., To maintain pharmacy and stores records., To dispense drugs and ensure timely distribution of medicines to in-patients and outpatients and other departments within the hospital., To monitor medication therapy to improve all aspects of delivery and report any adverse effects., To educate other members of the health care profession on the proper usage of drugs., To assist pharmacists in the training of pharmaceutical students., To ensure that expired drugs are removed from the shelves and appropriately disposed of., To review the reconciliation of drugs on a daily basis., To carry out dispensing, and compounding medicines under the supervision of Senior Pharmacy Staff., To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by his supervisor

(b) Qualifications and experience

• Holder of a diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution and registered by the Pharmacy
  Council and must have a valid practicing license.

4. Laboratory Technician

(a) Duties and Responsibilities To receive, extract and record samples for laboratory examinations. To prepare laboratory equipment and chemicals for laboratory tests and examinations. To inspect and store laboratory reagents, equipment and chemicals used in laboratory tests and

examinations. To keep and maintain laboratory records. To maintain the list of laboratory equipment in the unit. To carry out laboratory examination of samples and record the results under the supervision of a senior laboratory Technologist. To prepare re-agents for routine examination of patients. To carry out diagnostic procedures as advised by doctors. To ensure that all laboratory equipment is in working order and report any malfunction to the

concerned authorities. To ensure that the laboratory is kept clean, and the glassware is available and clean. To ensure that all samples for investigations are kept in safe custody. (b) Qualification and Experience

Holder of a Diploma in in Health Laboratory from any recognized Institution. Must be registered with by the Health Laboratory Practitioners Council as Laboratory Technologist. Valid practicing license is required. Proficiency with electronic health record systems, general computer applications and Microsoft office is required.

5. Theatre/Scrub Nurse

(a) Duties and Responsibilities Maintain order and cleanliness in operating room. Preparation of operating room with surgical equipment, sterile linens and supplies that will be needed during surgery. Maintain current and in-depth knowledge of sterile techniques. Position and prepare patient on operating table Collaborating with Medical doctors and anesthetists working in the suite regarding lists and equipment orders. Assist in ordering, storing and maintaining surgical equipment and supplies. Report damaged equipment to clinical supervisor of surgery immediately. Keeping the records of the consumable surgical materials used during operation of each patient. Maintain the patient’s medical records, including monthly surgical procedure statistics. Ensure checklist is available to each patient before surgery. Adhere to safety standards and precautions Assume duties within or out of the sterile field as assigned

• (b) Key Qualification, Specifications and Experience
• Must be a registered Nurse by Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council.
• Must have atleast 1 year certificate training in Theatre Techniques/Management.
• Proven experience as operating room nurse (circulating and scrub)
• Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions
• In-depth knowledge of obstetric operation procedures
• Outstanding organizational ability
• A great team player with excellent communication skills
• Cool tempered with emotional and physical stamina

6. Medical Records Officer

(a) Duties and Responsibilities To collect, tabulate, analyse and interpret disease and patient statistics and to circulate them to relevant end users of the hospital. To receive and register patients and direct them on where to go for attention. To facilitate availability of records and statistical data for carrying out research. To design and maintain a system for numbering, filing, storage and retrieval of patient’s files. To collect and prepare daily and monthly statistical return To maintain procedures for tracing misfiled and lost case-notes and other documents. To supervise quarterly and yearly squeezing of files into shelves. To perform any other related duty as assigned by the Supervisor.

(b) Qualification And Experience Holder of Diploma in Health Records (NTA Level 6) from a reputable institution. Proficiency with electronic health record systems, general computer applications and Microsoft office is required. One (1) year experience as a Health record officer

7. Medical Claims Officer

(a) Duties and Responsibilities Managing corporate clients for proper management of claims. Communicating timely with insured clients case there is misunderstanding between a client and
insurance. Working closely with receptionists to ensure all insured clients are checked properly before
services. Preparing daily bill reconciliation, monthly and annual reports. Screening daily/monthly claim forms for the facility. Learning and keeping up to date the JK products and services with changes. Maintaining JK policies and standards for customer care. Supervising closely the receptionist and clinicians on claims compliance based on the corporates contract agreement. Preparing and issuing corporate client invoices: Making sure every corporate client receives a copy of claim form. Verifying the prices charged on claim form agreed to the JK price list. Informing bill client of total cost of services.

(b) Academic Qualification and experience

• First degree graduate in Insurance, Business Administration, or related courses.
• Desirable: management and leadership skills, computer illiteracy, dealing with customers and staff challenges in a good way.
• 3 years experience of working in medical insurance and health organization with strong
  administrative skills and experience.
• Sound experience working with medical insurance(s) in Tanzania including with the Tanzanian
  Health systems.

8. Customer care services officer

(a) Duties and responsibilities Evaluating all documents to ensure that appropriate information has been obtained for billing purpose. To register patients and keeping patients’ information. Handling patient’s complaints, referral sources and administration department inquire. Communicate with insurance office for authorization request, as well as conducting insurance verification and eligibility for service. Responsible for coordinating, collecting and imputing all patient information and new patient set- ups into a customer information system. Ensuring customer satisfaction by assisting them with issues and concern related to their health, making decision as needed off hours without supervision to ensure uninterrupted providing of services. communicate and coordinate with internal departments. To perform other duties as assigned by Supervisors

(b) Experience and Qualifications

• At least Certificate from of any marketing related course from reputable organization.
• Experience of not less than two years working in a hospital. Numeric, Oral, and written language applications. Critical & problem-solving skills.
• Customerservice orientation.
• Stress tolerance.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
