The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) management has informed that students must know how to sign the NSFAS LAF SOP 2024/2026 into their MyNSFAS account. As a result, we will not process any tuition payments for students who have not completed their contracts.
Students only need to go to the NSFAS website (www.nsfas.org.za), click on the SIGN YOUR LAF/SOP link, and then input their ID number into the search engine to sign Loan Agreement Forms (LAFs) and Schedules of Particulars (SOP), or LAFs/SOP. Details will then show up on the screen.
How to sign NSFAS SOP
You can take the following actions to sign the NSFAS SOP:
- Click the link to sign online after opening the NSFAS email.
- Put in your South African ID number.
- You will receive an SMS with a One Time Pin (OTP) to the cell phone number you registered.
- On the portal, enter the OTP.
- Examine the conditions, electronically sign the contract, and send it in.
- A notification confirming the submission of the Terms and Conditions will appear on the screen.
IYour parent or legal guardian should sign on your behalf if you are younger than 18.
Other considerations are as follows:
- To confirm your information, you can register with a MyNSFAS account.
- You ought to give your own cell phone number, which only you can access.
- You should always keep your password secure.
