Job purpose
Drives sales growth for the Distributor’s variety of mobile phones and/or accessories through wholesalers/dealers by implementing relevant sales initiatives and strategies to achieve set targets across territories
Responsibilities
- Works with the Sales Manager to initiate and implement sales initiatives to support sales growth across the regions through customers (i,e, wholesalers/dealers), supporting Sales Reps to ensure targets are achieved
- Assists with stock distribution to territory branches/Wholesalers/dealers
- Monitors Customer accounts to ensure timely payments vs orders, monitoring debts within agreed limits
- Monitors wholesaler stock levels, taking relevant actions to ensure optimum availability to meet demand
- Acquaints with wholesalers/dealers’ needs and problems, harnessing cooperation to resolve issues and increase customer satisfaction
- Plays a key role in executing promotion strategies to communicate new products within wholesalers /dealers network across regions
- Establishes and maintains healthy business relationships with key stakeholders including dealers/wholesalers
- Evaluate Customer performance, offering recommendations for improvements as may be required
- Compiles sales reports including daily, weekly and monthly to report progress vs KPI for management use
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience preferably in distribution of mobiles (Mobile
industry)at supervisory level - Proven track record of achieving high performance
- Proficiency in Ms office applications & other office software
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Good leadership and management skills
- Ability to establish and maintain health relationships with colleges, customers and suppliers
- Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills
- Results oriented, self motivated and adept to problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment.
