On behalf of our reputable client HR World Ltd is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties within the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES;
- Oversee with the CFO the accounting and finance functions of the company, including treasury
- management, the day-to-day operations, and month/year-end close processes.
- Play a pivotal role in establishing financial processes and procedures from the ground up.
- Support financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
- Manage and reconcile financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, statutory financial statements, and budgets to aid decision-making.
- Oversee cash flow analysis, liquidity management, and risk assessment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze trends, and make strategic recommendations.
- Assist with HR-related matters, including personnel management, compliance, and policies.
- Contribute to procurement processes, vendor relationships, and supply chain optimization.
QUALIFICATIONS;
- Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or CMA qualification (alternative considered in final stages). Â
- At least 7 Years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles. Â
- Proven experience in treasury management, including cash forecasting. Â
- Background from an accounting company is strongly preferred but not a must. Â
- Experience in HR, procurement, or related areas is highly advantageous. Â
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and experience with implementation.
