Sabayi Investment Limited is looking for a motivated and highly experienced individuals to fill the position of:
1.HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER – 1 POST
Job Purpose:
To plan, design and coordinate the implementation of Best Practice HR Structures, Strategies, Processes and Procedures that will attract, develop, motivate and retain the required human resources while maximizing efficiency, productivity and effectiveness within the organization.
Background and scope:
The job entails directing and leading a strategic HR function for Sabayi investment limited, including the design and implementation of HR policies, procedures and guidelines. The jobholder is involved in the evaluation and monitoring of productivity through the Performance Management, surveys, capability assessment, recruitments at all levels, co-ordination of job evaluation, training, process, compensation and benefits management for all staff, generation of management reports, job profiling.
Key responsibilities:
- Formulates and executes the HR strategy, policy, plans and objectives working closely with the MD, other departmental heads.
- Meeting Sabayi Investments business needs including identifying, recruiting and retaining key talent to inform succession and business expansion plans, organization effectiveness, staff engagement and productivity;
- Enhancing the right culture and creating ownership of the company’s vision, mission and values and driving change in line with business goals
- Provide effective manpower control, recruitment and training programs in order to ensure that the quality of HR is maintained at optimum level and contributes to the successful achievement of business objectives
- Manages policies, processes and procedures that will guarantee the business of a healthy workforce (including employee wellness program) and productivity. Keeps abreast of the trends in labour laws and practices to ensure compliance and adoption of best practice
- Ensures the job evaluation process, conducts salary and benefits surveys and recommends appropriate action so as to remain competitive.
- Preparing the quarterly HR data and performance measurement reports to Management;
- Managing the HR team ensuring that they are clear about expected standards of performance, are engaged and developed to provide professional HR Services.
Skills, knowledge and experience requirement:
- A University degree in Human Resource and Professional qualifications in HR.
- Over 5 years’ experience in HR, last three as HR Business Partner or HR Manager.
- Experience in managing change, planning, budgeting, and executing HR strategies.
- Understanding of local labor laws and employee engagement.
2.ACCOUNTANT – 1 POST
Job Purpose:
To manage treasury function and credit control, continuously resolve and improve on the current accounting systems and provide management with accurate financial information.
Main Responsibilities:
- Reviews weekly and monthly Sabayi Performance and advices accordingly
- Forecasts cash requirements and advises on investment of surplus funds
- Payment requests and facilitates processing of payments
- Recommends credit levels and opening of accounts for customers
- Monitors the performance of customers in compliance with credit terms
- Ensures completeness of revenue by comparing marketing statistics with the financial information
- Reviews System Applications and Products(SAP) system performance and continuously makes improvements
- Reviews and consolidates the Division’s and Subsidiaries performances highlighting areas of concern to the management.
- Prepares audit information for the Sabayi audit and resolution of queries
- Liaises with tax consultants on resolution of pending issues and ensures compliance
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Academic: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance recognized institution, master’s degree will be an added advantage
- Professional: Certificate in CPA (T)
- Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience

3.WAREHOUSE MANAGER – 1 POST
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a keen eye for detail. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient inventory management, optimizing warehouse layout and workflow, and maintaining a safe and productive working environment. This role requires effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders, including suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity within the warehouse.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing and production teams to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage methods to maximize space utilization and accessibility.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement measures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to foster a high performing team.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate inventory transfers, fulfill orders, and resolve any issues that arise.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software tools to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and generate reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role, with a track record of successfully leading teams and improving operational efficiency.
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes, inventory management principles, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and coach team members.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures applicable to warehouse operations.
4.MECHANICAL ENGINEER – 1 POST
Job Purpose:
To maintain the press and auxiliary equipment in the plant, install and commission new equipment and supervise service level providers.
Main Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key result areas:
- Uses Production maintenance checklists to plan weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly maintenance tasks.
- Ensures that all the tasks specified by the planner are carried out on due dates in accordance with the approved procedures.
- Supervises service level providers to carry out proper maintenance on equipment when due.

- Installs and commissions new equipment including hardware and software.
- Counter checks the work assigned to Plant Technicians to ensure thoroughness.
- Recommends to the Production Manager the spare parts to be ordered.
- Ensures the safety and security of people and equipment through professional work ethics
- Service and repair Generator and Air compressors.
- Carries out monthly stock-take of mechanical spares.
- Develops and motivates shift staff and the (Mechanical) technical personnel to ensure continuity of efficient operation
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Excellent communication skills.
- At least 3 to 5 years working experience.
- Basic knowledge in Cashew nut processing Machinery
- Working knowledge of personal computers (hardware/software)
