Telesales Representative is responsible for lead generation and sales qualification for both inbound and outbound sales communications. Routines for the Telesales Representative are but are not limited to creating upsell orders for existing customers, engaging with marketing qualified leads, and developing sales-qualified leads through cold calls and emails.Â
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Generate upsell Proforma and Service Order Forms as required for existing customers in a timely manner
- Ensure Service Order Forms are approved in a timely manner.
- Engages with marketing qualified leads. Leads that have been channeled through a Website form, Sales Email, Social Media, and 3rd Party lead generators.Â
- Be the custodian of the Sales Funnel ensuring the funnel is updated and qualified appropriately whereby it reflects a true picture of the sales activity and provides meaningful sales projections.Â
- Develop sales-qualified leads from existing cold and frozen opportunities, discovery leads list, listed databases on the web, farming leads from region specific and industry relevant websites, social media channels, online and print publications.Â
- Prospect and renew contracts of asset financier customers whose financing terms expire in 60 days.Â
- To be a brand ambassador in every way – from the communique, face-to-face meetings, and professional etiquette, all the way to thorough and methodical follow-ups and sale closure
- Prepare and share Flash Reports and any other report deemed necessary from time to time.
- Any other tasks that are delegated by the Head of Sales, Commercial Operations Manager, GM, MD, or members of the board.
The Candidate:
- Able to work with minimal supervision and a high sense of responsibility and personal integrity
- Must be passionate, convincing and must have fire in the belly,Â
- Must be ambitious, optimistic, and laser-focused on success
- Must be energetic, have a positive outlook, and be very creative
- Must have a mature, pleasant, and uplifting attitude and outlook
- Must be resourceful and innovative in overcoming challenges
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Diploma or equivalent
- Have at least 1 year of comparable sales experience
- Must be IT savvy and must understand basic concepts of the product and how it works
- Experience in a relevant line of work is favorable but not required
- Must be Time-Oriented
- Must have Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills
