Super Meals Limited (Cool Blue) was established in 1998. This was a period when the country experienced frequent cholera outbreaks as a result of the use of contaminated drinking water. People used to boil drinking water in their homes to purify it, which was expensive in terms of energy resources.

The same problem was encountered in workplaces; businesses were unable to keep up with providing clean and safe water to their employees. Our founder, the late Abdallah Malik was motivated by the need to support efforts to control cholera outbreaks, and he wished to ensure that clean and safe water was easily accessible in homes and workplaces, as well as at an affordable cost.
Cool Blue began operations in 1999 and to-date, access to clean and
safe water remain our top priority.
