BACHELOR OF ARTS IN FRENCH
This programme aims at equipping students with Linguistics and French language knowledge and skills. The overall objective is to prepare a cadre of high quality language skills to take care of matters related to the French language professionally.
What and how will you learn?
Students shall be introduced to different linguistic theories and various rules that govern French language. Learning modalities will include lectures, tutorials/seminars, and assignments, field practical and self-studies.
Entry requirements
Direct entry qualifications
Two principal passes, one of which must be in French.
Equivalent entry qualifications
Diploma in Education with an average of ‘B’ or a GPA of 3.0 and four passes at O’ Level.

Graduates of this programme are employed by the government, NGOs and private companies as Translators, Interpreters, Journalists, Public Relations Officers, News Presenters, Proofreaders, Editors, Teachers, Immigration Officers, etc.
