In order to build a wholesale housing microfinance product for Financial Service Providers (FSPs) in Tanzania, HFHI, in collaboration with TMRC, is looking for support for the development of a wholesale product for Tanzania at Habitat for Humanity International.
The consultant, TMRC, and HFHI will work together to create a home microfinance wholesale product for TMRC that will allow FSPs to make loans to individual borrowers. In order to increase homeownership among low-income households, the product may entail prefinancing new loans or refinancing existing ones.
Key Objectives
- Create the FSP dwelling product for wholesale microfinance.
- Draft instructions for internal operations and loans are examples of product support materials.
- Perform risk analyses and offer suggestions for risk control.
- Inform the board and employees of TMRC about the new product and housing microfinance.
- In order to obtain product approval, assist TMRC with board presentations.

Eligibility criteria
The research company/consultant should:
- Possess a minimum of ½ years of expertise in creating wholesale mortgage refinance products.
- A thorough comprehension of mortgage refinance companies and some of their offerings
- Knowledge about the financial market in Tanzania
- The assigned staff should possess the necessary training in project management, product development, and research.
- Experience providing capacity building and technical assistance
- Capacity to reach a wide audience with minimal resources.
