About the job
- Role Objective: In accordance with the regional manager, implement the revenue and cost of sale strategy for the designated territory.
- to serve as the external representative of the Oman Air brand to all government, business, and trade organizations within the designated area.
- Budgets for sales revenue and revenue delivery for the designated territory.
- Implement the suggested supplementary revenue promotion strategies for the designated territory.
- to decrease any influence on Oman Air’s income in the region by maintaining or growing market share on revenue and implementing a cultural shift in the distribution approach.
Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic:
- Follow the regional manager’s instructions to implement the revenue/cost of sale roadmap in accordance with the state of the market in the designated territory.
- For the designated territory, meet the budget and cost of sale targets.
- Determine prospects in the territory market while collaborating with marketing to develop an appropriate marketing strategy that aligns with the strategic goals delegated by the regional manager.
- Examine and comment on the competitive landscape and market conditions in the territory.
- Oversee the territorial implementation of Oman Air’s NDC strategy through all channels.
- To move toward a direct distribution strategy, advertise and start direct sales offers (Web/NDC/Call Center/Mobile).
- Encourage the development and upkeep of connections with important partners and clients within the territory.
- Take the initiative in communicating with traders about the market in your designated zone.
- To expand the territory’s additional revenue sources, start making adjustments to ancillary revenue opportunities.
Planning
- Arrange, plan, and coordinate sales calls to government agencies and travel agents’ corporate offices.
- development of a region sales strategy under the direction of a direct distribution roadmap in order to fulfill allocated budgetary responsibility.
- To increase productivity and performance, give regional sales managers regular market feedback on pricing, distribution, and procedures.
- support for corporate norms and local government assistance for trade.
- Being a leader to serve as the regional manager’s deputy as necessary.
- In order to achieve sales performance and, if appropriate, promote growth and development, lead, coach, and mentor the sales team.
- Performance Management: Oversee the territory’s travel agency incentive program and offer suggestions for enhancements.
- Monitor BSP in assigned territory, working with the business to administer any action.
- Any other tasks assigned by management.

Minimum Education and Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Six years of relevant job experience managing sales in the airline business, together with a bachelor’s degree in aviation management, travel, and tourism.
- OR 8 years of relevant job experience managing airline sales combined with a diploma in a related discipline.
