Our Story
Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) aims to be the preferred provider of accessible specialized health services in Africa and serves as healthcare social enterprise and through development programmes in the community and the most vulnerable. Committed to preventing lifelong disabilities wherever possible, CCBRT is also engaged in extensive maternal and newborn healthcare (MNHC) activities including obstetric fistula repairs. Its Maternity and Newborn Wing serves as a referral centre for high risk and emergency deliveries in the region of Dar es Salaam and the Eastern Zone of Tanzania.
In order to strengthen the Quality Assurance Department, we are looking for an energetic, analytical and
Professional Quality officer who will assist in the provision of all Quality assurance services towards our business units.
Your qualifications and work experience
Holder of a Doctor of Medicine degree ( MD or MBBS from a recognized institution with successful completion of at least one year internship and a registration with the Tanganyika Medical Council as a medical doctor. Or;
- Bachelor degree in Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized institution with successful completion of at least one year internship and registration with the Tanzanian Nurses and Midwife Council and with at least 2 years’ formal working experience in a clinical setting. Or;
- Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized institution and registration with the Tanzanian Nurses and Midwife Council and with at least 4 years’ formal working experience in a clinical setting.
- Experience with credit quality control is an added advantage
- Proven knowledge and experience with clinical standards and audits
- Experience as a member of a Quality Improvement Team is an added advantage Computer literate
- Good communication skills in Swahili and English
- Ability to work independently as per agreed tasks
- Ability to mobilize teams
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to provide constructive feedback
- Flexibility and Multitasking
- Pro-active and eager to learn
