The National Examination and School Inspection Authority (NESA) is a government institution established in 2020 by presidential order No. 123/01 of 15/10/2020, published in Official Gazette No. 32 bis of 19/10/2020.
The Ministry of Education established the Competence Based Curriculum and Training (CBCT) to oversee the administration of all tests and exams from grade one to grade five, for both TVET and Basic Education.
