Expenditure Accountant Job at Ando Roofing Products Limited
The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen. Reporting to the Senior Accountant , the Accountant Expenditure shall be a Resource in finance, paying close attention to the Expenditure and all payable accounts ensuring that such schedules, ledgers, statements are accurately recorded, analyzed, and reported with sufficient detail at the end of every transaction..
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and up to date schedules of contributing members, including capturing of payable accounts, Also read Jinsi ya Kujisajili na CRDB Marathon .
- Record daily receipts of the Authority by passing appropriate entries in the Authority’s Ledgers and ensures that there are no errors in the schedules, ledgers, and revenue/receipts records.
- Perform daily and Monthly Bank reconciliations on expenditure account.
- Perform periodic reconciliations of the Expenditure accounts and related control accounts.
- Undertake periodic reconciliations of all Account Payables.
- Assist in efficient and effective debt collection and management.
- Assist in preparation of monthly expenditure forecasts and perform monthly expenditure analysis and calculations,
- Assist in preparation of monthly expenditure Management Reports including attendant variance analysis,
- Prepare and capture invoices for all Accredited facilities on a timely basis.
- Assist in ensuring that all payments by clients are duly received on time.
- Assist in providing information for financial Audits and implement recommendations.
- Assist in implementing controls and report control deficiencies.
- Perform other tasks as may be directed by the Senior Accountant.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Must have more than 2 years in experience
