Key responsibilities
- Obtain new clients directly or via middlemen.
- Maintain current clientele and follow up to guarantee renewal
- Continue to provide direct clients and intermediaries with exceptional customer service.
- To guarantee a sound acceptance of risk, conduct initial underwriting in compliance with established norms.
- Prior to the policy attaching, be sure the premiums have been paid.
- Verify that middlemen receive their commissions on schedule and correctly by following up.
- As per the established KPI, expand business from Bancassurance partners and hire additional agents, direct clients, and brokers.
- To meet sales goals, mentor, train, and assist new intermediaries.
- Observe and conform to the underwriting criteria and rules as occasionally given by the underwriting manager.
- Create daily sales reports for the sales manager and any other reports that management may ask for.
- Help and advise clients with the handling of claims
- Fulfill the performance standards outlined in the personal scorecard and plan map.

Working Relationships
Internal Relationships:
- Answerable to the Sales Manager
- As needed, close coordination and coordination with the Underwriting, Finance, Claims, and other departments are required.

- TIRA and other regulatory institutions
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
- A business-related bachelor’s degree
- An additional benefit is having a professional insurance qualification (CII certificate or similar).
- A minimum of one year’s experience in a comparable role
- Understanding of the insurance sector and its principles
- Understanding of the regulations governing insurance
- Understanding of marketing and sales.
