BACHELOR OF EDUCATION IN SCIENCE WITH ICT
The main aim of this programme is to prepare teachers and teacher educators who will teach in secondary schools and teacher’s colleges teaching science subjects and Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Teaching ICT and Science courses in secondary schools and teachers’ colleges vary widely in terms of infrastructure, teaching and learning resources and socio-economic backgrounds of learners.
What and how will you learn?
Students in this programme are expected to take courses in one major and minor teaching subject in the relevant field, and educational courses majoring in Science and ICT courses. Learning modalities will include lectures, independent reading from different sources, seminar presentations, practical assignments and Teaching Practice.

Direct entry qualifications
Two principal passes in any of the following Science subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and/ or Mathematics..
Equivalent entry qualifications
Diploma in Educational Technology with specialization in ICT, Diploma in Education, Diploma in Primary Teacher Education, Diploma in Secondary Education, with specialization in Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics) with an average of “B” or GPA of 3.0 and either four passes at “O” Level for Form Six leavers or Certificate in Teaching (Grade A) for non –form six leavers.
