BACHELOR OF ARTS IN PHILOSOPHY AND POLITICAL SCIENCE
This degree programme intends to develop critical thinking and analytical mindin exploring concerns and issues that animate public life.Thus, theprogramme aims toequipgraduates with knowledge and skills in order to enable them grapple with the major questions and public issues of contemporary time.
What and how will you learn?
Students will be introduced to thorough analysis of a variety of ways of critical thinking and acting. The programme will cover several aspects including,but not limited to,nature of the self, social and political philosophy, morality and moral theories, civic and development ethics, as well as moral psychology and public policy. Learning modalities will include lectures, tutorial/seminars, assignments, practical and self-study.

Direct entry qualifications
Two principal passes in any of the following Arts subjects: History/Geography/ Kiswahili/English/French..
Equivalent entry qualifications
Diploma in Political Sciences, Philosophy, Sociology, Social Work, Community Development, Development Studies or International Relations and Diplomacy with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0.
