Therefore, self-motivated, honest, hardworking and committed Temporary and Specific Task Employees who are currently working with TANESCO are invited to fill the under-mentioned posts of Antisans at Julius Nyerere Hydropower Plant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing scheduled preventive plant maintenance.
- Assist in inspecting electrical system, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Assist in testing electrical system and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Assist in undertaking diagnosis of malfunctioning system apparatus and components to locate the cause and fix it accordingly.
- Ensure Company’s safety rules and regulations are observed all the time.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Cel ificate in Secondary Education (CSE)
- NTA Level II or III/Grade Il or I in Elecrical
- A minimum working experience  of at least one (1 year of proven good performance within the TANESCO
- Computer skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and Kiswahili
- Creative, innovative and team working.
