Job Summary
- Installation, Testing, Operation & Maintenance, Trouble shooting of Instrumentation equipment’s.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- As instructed, carry out all work order maintenance, plant equipment calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot, inspect, test, maintain, repair, clean, and calibrate solid state and microprocessor-based control equipment, including plant communications, generator excitation equipment, battery chargers, programmable controllers, distributive control systems, and semi-conductor devices.
- When necessary, fix or replace control devices like pushbuttons, proximity sensors, switches, photo eyes, motor starters, transmitters, contractors, etc.
- Install measurement and control devices on new or existing plant machinery.
- Utilize a variety of test tools, such as analog and digital multimeters, meggars, oscilloscopes, data analyzers, control and tuning modules, PC-based software analyzer programs, recorders, computers, and other test tools, to detect issues and maintain and calibrate equipment to performance standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of the control equipment and plant instruments.
- Help create comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance plans for control equipment and plant instrumentation.
- As instructed by the section head or instrumentation engineer, install, construct, or alter plant instrumentation and control equipment.
- Minor programming, troubleshooting, and repairs of various PLC control systems, often drives, and other electrical equipment
- Engage in environmental, health, and plant safety initiatives and adhere to corporate and governmental safety regulations.
- Carry out any additional tasks that the section head or engineers may occasionally assign you.
Requirements
Academic/Professional Qualifications
- Electronics and communication engineering bachelor’s degree.
- Two (2) years or more of job experience.
