Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation Vacancies 2024, Jobs inception of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation traces back to the early years of independence in 1961. Initially, it operated as a department within the Prime Minister’s Office until December 1963. Subsequently, in 1964, it was established as a fully-fledged Ministry known as the Ministry of External Affairs.
Throughout the following four decades, starting from the sixties, the Ministry’s activities were shaped by Presidential Circular No. 2 of 1964. This directive outlined foreign policy priorities centered on principles of racial equality, collective self-reliance, and global peace, considering the socio-economic context of the sixties and seventies. Notably, challenges such as colonialism, neo-colonialism, superpower rivalry, economic difficulties in developing nations, and the instability of African statehood necessitated such a strategic approach. This policy framework proved beneficial for Tanzania over time.
The Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS), acting on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, is seeking dynamic and suitably qualified Tanzanian individuals to occupy twelve (12) vacant positions listed below:

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
i. All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens with an age not exceeding 45 years, except for those already employed in the Public Service.
