TAKUKURU (PCCB) Vacancies February 2024, Jobs Institute for the Prevention and Combating of Corruption (PCCB) is a public institution established under the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Law No. 11 of 2007. This law was enacted after the repeal of the Law for the Prevention of Corruption (TAKURU) Chapter 329 which was revised in 2002. The establishment of this body came after the Parliament of the United Republic of Tanzania passed the 2007 Prevention and Combating Corruption Bill on April 16, 2007.

This bill was signed by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania Mr. Jakaya Kikwete became the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Act on June 11, 2007 and came into force on July 1, 2007 Institute for Prevention and Combating Corruption – TUKURU is an independent public body created in accordance with the Law on Prevention and Combating Corruption no. 11 of 2007. Section 4 of this law, when read together with section 7, describes the responsibilities of the PCC which are divided into two main concepts which are Prevention of Corruption and Combating Corruption.
