Specific duties and responsibilities
- Makes certain that the maintenance and operation teams receive weekly and monthly information on the status of the equipment.
- Close coordination and communication with the operating team to facilitate prompt equipment failure troubleshooting.
- To guarantee optimal plant availability, there must be clear communication between the maintenance planner, mechanical, instrument, electrical, and operations staff and other maintenance partners.
- In accordance with the maintenance strategy and SOP, plan and carry out condition-based maintenance.
- Make sure the rotating equipment is balanced and aligned as needed on schedule.
- Follow Illovo IAMP’s recommended maintenance procedures.
- Appropriate condition maintenance tool handling, upkeep, and calibration.

Job Requirements
- A mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering, or related degree or diploma.
- Two years or more of experience performing condition-based maintenance in a large industrial company or the sugar sector.
- A respectable organization’s VCATII certification.
- IRCATII accreditation from a respectable organization.
Terms of Service: The chosen applicant will sign a long-term agreement.
