JOB RESPONSIBILITIES for Social Welfare Officer Jobs
- Conducting Interviewees (people with disabilities, the elderly, families with problems, children and young people with various problems);
- Conduct inspections of the environment in which the clients live to obtain their full information;
- Prepare interview reports and environmental audit of staff;
- Receive and collect Social Welfare information from various Social Welfare stakeholders and centers;
- Receive and collect data pertaining to the services of persons with disabilities, the elderly, the upbringing of children and families in distress;
- Receive, analyze and compile a list of applications for enrollment in day care centers, foster care and day care centers;
- To receive, analyze and compile a list of applications for Presidential assistance from mothers, who have given birth to three or more children at once;
- Receive, analyze and compile a list of applications for orphans or children in need;
- Receive, analyze and compile a list of various applications from families of distressed individuals; 2
- Questioning and preparing statements of defendants;
- Supervising residential staff, Vocational Training Colleges for Persons with Disabilities, Child Prisons and Rehabilitation Schools;
- To perform such other duties as may be assigned to him or her by his or her supervisor for his or her education, experience and skills.
QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANT for Social Welfare Officer Jobs
- To be employed with a Bachelor of Arts in the field of ‘Social Work’ or ‘Sociology’ or Higher Diploma in ‘Social Work’ from a Government College of Higher Education.
