Job Purpose
To guarantee that the bank’s lending systems provide sufficient control of the loans applied under the TACATDP and that the clean green asset loan portfolio expands in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the bank’s credit policies and procedures.
Principle Responsibilities
- To ensure that the Agriculture Resilience and Adaptation (ARA) loans filed by the bank’s business and lending personnel are disbursed in compliance with the eligibility standards and the special group memo that has been formed.
- Assist the bank in expanding its green asset portfolio by making sure the loans sent to the credit department are distributed correctly.
- Ensuring that the bank’s credit policies and procedures, as well as applicable national and international laws, regulations, and best practices, are followed when applying for and disbursing ARA loans.
- Examining and evaluating information to determine creditworthiness and creating reports on a regular basis.
- Make that the loan applications and submissions to the credit analysts adhere to the E&S risk classification and environmental and social risk assessment.
- Credit analysts should get training, capacity building, and education on the proper eligibility requirements for TACATDP loan issuance as well as the applicable adaptation technologies funded by TACATDP.
- For prompt credit risk avoidance and/or mitigation, notify the credit department of any updates or modifications to the green lending requirements.
- Analyze, create, and produce credit periodic performance reports in accordance with the TACATDP performance metrics and criteria that lenders want in accordance with their contractual obligations.
- The individual regularly reviews financial documents and credit reports to monitor the performance of TACATDP Loans.
Qualifications Required
- Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or institution in banking, economics, accounting, statistics, or a similar field.
- It will be advantageous to have the following credentials: CPA, ACCA, and a postgraduate degree or master’s degree in business administration.
- Someone who has extensive expertise in banking, statistics, accounting, and economics
- Someone with real-world expertise managing social and environmental risks in project loans and commercial operations.
- Understanding of financial analytics and credit
- Familiarity with databases, spreadsheets, and other credit or financial tools.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- As well as a PowerPoint presentation).
- Understanding of economics, finance, business, and industry risk analysis
- Capacity to comprehend, recognize, evaluate, and control social, gender, and environmental hazards to corporate operations, loans, and projects.
- Analytical aptitude and comprehension of general business concerns.
- Capabilities for risk and regulatory management
- Communication and report-writing abilities.
- The capacity to choose priorities, fulfill important deadlines, and handle pressure.
- Problem-solving and creative thinking skills are essential.
- The capacity to interact with and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders and business owners.
