The factory also produces a wide range of plastic containers and packing materials. It began producing and distributing three brands of water, Masafi, Maisha and Just Chill, as well as juice beverage Pride.
The company simultaneously launched a line of PET (polyethylene terephthalate) preforms, PET bottles and filling beverages. Later, the factory began producing PP (polypropylene) buckets and lids as well as HDPE (high density polyethylene) jerry cans. The initial beverages lines proved so successful the company saw an 11-fold increase in production and sales. Maisha Bottlers & Beverages Limited employ more than 1,100 people.

Job Description
- Responsible for sales growth through Mobile sales, depots, branches and Agent’s network.
- Appointing and training sales people – Salesmen, Supervisors and Shop managers.
- Over all handling daily operations of sales department like- making sure that vehicles are leaving on time to the market with all available SKUs, maintaining strict discipline among sales team including supervisors, salesmen, Shop managers, drivers and loaders.
- Regularly visiting the market for sales growth, checking for any lack of service by salesmen, exploring the possibility of introducing new route, appointing new agent etc.
- Coordinating sales supervisor’s activities from morning to evening of every working day.
- Control on proper return of money from trade and ensuring prompt encashment to Accounts department and in case of shortage to follow up payment from concerned salesperson or shop manager.
- Receive market intelligence from supervisors on competitor’s activities and report to management.
- To receive and solve customer complaints that cannot be solved by supervisors on daily basis.
- Any other responsibility given by the reporting officer.
