Role Overview
Join Binance’s Data Analytics team to transform petabyte-scale data into actionable insights. As a Blockchain Data Analyst, you’ll work on engineering, visualization, and machine learning projects while mastering Web3 infrastructure and decentralized finance (DeFi).
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Engineering & Analysis
- Analyze massive datasets (transactional, operational, and customer data) using SQL, Python, and GraphQL.
- Design and optimize ETL pipelines and data models for efficiency and scalability.
- Source and integrate data via APIs and blockchain tools like Dune Analytics and Nansen.
2. Visualization & Reporting
- Translate complex findings into intuitive dashboards and visualizations for stakeholders.
- Manage reporting environments, ensuring data accuracy, security, and metadata integrity.
- Troubleshoot and refine databases and reporting tools.
3. Web3 & DeFi Innovation
- Apply knowledge of tokenomics, DeFi protocols, and Web3 infrastructure to solve real-world challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions in fast-paced projects.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data modeling.
- Experience with blockchain analytics tools (e.g., Dune Analytics) and GraphQL.
- Familiarity with addressing standards (e.g., EVM-compatible chains) and metadata.
- Domain Knowledge:
- Understanding of DeFi, Web3, and blockchain ecosystems.
- Ability to interpret project tokenomics and market trends.
- Commitment: Available 3 days/week minimum for 6 months.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
