NCA has secured a one year project from NORAD Nasen Funding Stream on food Security, and is seeking a dynamic, experienced, strategic-thinking and result-oriented Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Programme Assistant to work on this grant programme activities in line with the Country Strategic Plan and NCA policies with ecumenical and interfaith partners.Â
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring M&E systems are functional for the Nansen project.
- Responsible for monitoring and assessment of the progress of the project.
- Follow up on implementation of recommended issues to ensure project targets are achieved.
- Support in development of digital data collection and management system.
- Coordinate and support partners cross-learning and adaptation.
- Responsible for project reporting, including documentation of change and impact of the project interventions in the target community.
Qualifications
- Tanzanian national with a good Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in, Monitoring and Evaluation, Education, Development studies, Social Science, Agriculture; from a recognized learning institution
- At least 2 years of relevant experience with relevant public or private institution.
- Research skills with practical knowledge in application of both quantitative and qualitative research methods in development work context.
- Competence in design and use of digital systems, for data collection and information management.
- Confident in using MS Office (including excel and power point)
- Ability to work in multi-cultural settings and being able to interrelate with relevant stakeholders both at the national and sub-national levels.
- The ability to learn fast and adapt to change, and work under pressure/ tight deadlines with minimum supervision.Â
- Being a positive and good team player, open to the new procedures and flexible to the changing environment.Â
