Job Summary Position: Principal Officer
Working Station: Dar es Salaam Company: ELM Enterprises Co., ltd
Main Business: Insurance and Microfinance
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sales Officer will be responsible for the sales of Insurance and Loans of the
company.
Key responsibilities:
1. To receive and process applications for insurance covers and loan requests.
2. Ensure the policy requirements are fulfilled, including the completion of the
appropriate forms.
3. Assist customers in properly completing insurance applications in order to act
as an insurance intermediary between the company and an insurance
company.
4. Inspect property and take pictures in order to examine its overall condition
and decide its insurance risk.
5. To attend different training accordingly as it will be directed by Insurance
principal companies, TIRA, and other industry stakeholders.
6. Advice and train customers according to the insurance product that will satisfy
his/her need.
7. To make follow-up on matured insurance covers so as to renew them.
8. To underwrite the the insurance policy purchased by a client
9. Research and analyze potential markets, advertise loan products, and develop referral

10. Review loan agreements to make sure that they are completely accurate according to
policy and compute payment schedules. Review as well as update credit loan files
11. Any other duties will be assigned by the supervisor
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum of Degree in Business studies
2. Experience in sales of Insurance and Microfinance is must
3. Computer literate
4. Experience in Sales will be an added advantage
