A successful candidate will be responsible for taking accountability and ownership of packing and continuous improvement activities across a balanced scorecard of quality, cost, delivery, safety, sustainability, and morale in line with agreed objectives.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in the creation of the nation’s packaging strategy, initiatives, objectives, and KPIs.
- Develop the best pack plans based on the site’s packing capacities and the sugar that is available in collaboration with the factory and S&OP.
- Help create and carry out the department’s planned cleaning and maintenance schedules, making sure that the results meet business standards and the plan.
- Control and direct utilizing resources as efficiently as possible to fulfill the agreed-upon packing strategy for all packing processes, including specials (people, machines, materials, and equipment).
- Make preparations to expand demonstrated capacity and eliminate packing limitations.
- Reach and surpass goals for variance against plan (VAP) and planned vs. actual (PvA) for every SKU.
- To raise and stabilize total shown capabilities, concentrate on increasing OEE for every packaging line.
- To track performance and handle and escalate pertinent issues, identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Create, design, and implement SOPs to enhance performance, safety, and quality while optimizing packaging operations.
- Develop operating procedures and capital plans that will encourage all packing activities to adhere to the Group Packing Standards.
- Establish, preserve, or manage connections with important stakeholders and outside vendors.
- Assist in creating a business case for important capital projects and make sure the necessary results are obtained.
- Make strategies to increase the capacity of all the resources used in packaging processes.

Job Qualification and Experience.
- A bachelor’s degree at the very least.
- 5+ years of production management and substantial industry experience in a fast-paced consumer products setting.
- Strong familiarity with the production and packaging of sugar.
- A course on sugar engineering is preferred.
- Strong leadership and management experience.
