The Executive Director of Bukombe District Council, following receipt of an alternative employment permit with ref. No. FA. 228/613/01/E/087 dated 18.11.2024 from the Permanent Secretary, President’s Office, Public Service Management and Good Governance, hereby invites all Tanzanians with qualifications and interest in working in Bukombe District Council to apply for the job vacancy mentioned below.
Responsibilities
- Typing routine and private papers, including reports and letters.
- Greeting guests, inquiring about their issues, and pointing them in the direction of resources that can help.
- Preserving data and documentation of meetings, appointments, events, guests, head travel, and other work schedules.
- Looking for the papers and documents needed to carry out work-related tasks.
- Receiving files and giving them to officers in the appropriate area, department, or unit.
- Gathering, preserving, and redistributing files and documents to the appropriate areas.
- Arranging notes and getting ready for different meetings.
- Putting together a list of different office necessities.
Qualifications
- To hire Form IV or VI graduates who have earned an NTA Level 6 Certificate in Accounting or a Diploma in Accounting. They should also have studied office computer applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, e-mail, and Publisher from any government-approved university, and they should have passed the 100-word-per-minute Kiswahili and English typing tests.
