Occupational Therapist Job at CCBRT
we are looking for an dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team.
The role
As part of CCBRT’s multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, you provide quality Occupational Therapy services (including counseling and education) to CCBRT clients according to CCBRT guidelines and clients needs. You contribute to the positive experience of clients at CCBRT Rehabilitation Department in all aspects.Â
You identify the request for service and main problem of the clients and prepare and execute an individual rehabilitation plan with goals and Interventions. Provide Occupational Therapy services and help to clients with physical and cognitive conditions take part in daily activities. Order, measure and provide necessary equipment for the clients.Â
Be a teamplayer that is punctual, committed and execute tasks that are to be completed by the team. Collaborate closely with the other therapists and staff in the rehabilitation team. Ensure administration regarding patients is completed as per CCBRT guidelines and systems.Â
The candidate
- Diploma of Occupational Therapy or Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Licensed Occupational Therapist who is allowed to practice by Medical Council of Tanganyika
- A member of Associaton of Occupational Therapists in Tanzania
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as Occupational Therapist with excellent track record Computer literate
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both English and Swahili)
- A pro-active attitude and eagerness to work
