Nafasi Za Kazi Medical Retailor at DKT International Tanzania 2023;- DKT Tanzania is a rapidly growing social enterprise company aimed at increasing access to contraceptives in Tanzania. DKT Tanzania is affiliated with DKT International, one of the largest private providers of family planning in the world, with a presence in over 40 countries. DKT Tanzania conducts sales and marketing of pharmaceutical and medical devices across Tanzania including a wide range of condoms, pills, IUDs and other contraceptive and maternal healthcare products.
Medical Detailer will be responsible for promotion and distribution of DKT’s range of family planning products to private health facilities, private healthcare providers and pharmacies in the assigned geographical region. S/he will identify and coordinate with target outlets and service providers to ensure that products are on high demand. S/he will ensure that providers understand the benefits and correct use of DKT products and are motivated to use the products in their businesses.
Responsibilities
- Achievement of sales targets for assigned territory
- Achievement of annual revenue target
- Ensure healthcare providers in territory are familiar with DKT products and where to purchase/source them in the territory (DKT wholesalers and distributors).
- Ensure maximum achievement and growth in distribution and reach by identifying new customers as required
- Ensure regular sale and distribution of DKT health products to private healthcare providers
- Ensure all sales policies and procedures of DKT Tanzania are adhered to
- Ensure availability and visibility of product categories across customer base in zone
- Ensure that indirect sales staff (distributors, wholesalers) are motivated and properly trained on DKT products, particularly on pharmaceutical and healthcare-provider driven products.
Qualifications
- Degree in a Biomedical sciences or related field
- Proficiency in English and any other two local languages.
- Post graduate certification in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage but not mandatory
- A minimum 3 years hands on experience in a Sales/marketing/detailing of pharmaceutical products
