Job Purpose
The company is looking for an ideal candidate who shall be responsible for managing the day-to-day
accounting functions, enhancing internal controls and compliance to tax/regulations. He/She will be
expected to prepare periodic reports for internal and external stakeholders of the company.
Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timely capture of all financial activities in the company ERP /
  Accounting system.
• Perform monthly reconciliations for all company bank and cash accounts, receivables, and
  payables.
• Ensure timely preparation, filling and reconciliation of Corporate Taxes, VAT, PAYE, SDL, WHT
  Returns to Tanzania Revenue Authority and other statutory payroll taxes with relevant authorities.
• Coordinate with Project owners for timely invoicing, debtor follow up, project expenditure control
  and reporting.
• Manage and ensure a healthy cash flow and regularly advise the management on current and
  projected cashflow position.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports and present them to the company
  management.
• To manage the year end accounting closure process and coordinate external financial audit.
• Oversee the implementation of company financial procedures and controls.
• Make sure the company is fully compliant with all local taxes and internal financial procedures
  and alert the management of any inconsistencies as soon as they happen.
• Provide accounting support to other staff across the company to ensure compliance with
  financial procedures and policies.
  Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting /Finance or any equivalent Qualification.
• Basic knowledge of Tanzania taxes and taxation regime.
• An organized and analytical individual with excellent attention to details and numbers.
• 2 – 3 years of experience or more is an added advantage.
• Computer skills and previous use of any ERP system and Microsoft Excel is an added advantage
• Below 35 years of age.
