Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Creates, drafts, updates, and oversees operating budgets for the effluent plant, cane weighbridge, and laboratory while efficiently controlling expenses.
- Assembles, examines, and revises the work instructions utilized in the effluent plant, factory laboratory, cane weighbridges, and system design for ongoing facility improvement.
- Programs, fixes, and maintains the Infowave/Scaleability weighbridge system for recording and reporting cane deliveries, as well as the Excel database and software for analytical data collection, processing, storing, and reporting.
- Establish guidelines for using and configuring equipment according to the right specifications.
- Creates diffuser curves, B&C pan-brix profiles, and factory performance reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for a variety of clients, including the Sugar Milling Research Institute, the technical services department, and process management.
- Offers top-notch services to other departments, including granulated activated carbon, refinery liquor color analysis for payment determination, and slurry preparation for sugar graining at the pan floor.
- Make certain that all scales and weighbridges are calibrated, sized, and inspected on a daily, weekly, and annual basis.
- Oversees and manages the weighbridge, laboratory, and inventory of effluent plant stocks.
- Build skills on the job and hold groups responsible for their output.

Job Qualification and Experience
- Chemical engineering or analytical chemistry bachelor’s degree.
- Five years of experience in a lab.
- Three years of experience in a cane lab.
- Adept at using Microsoft Excel.
- Expertise leading teams and processes.
Terms of Service: The chosen applicant will sign a long-term agreement.
