Information System Officer at WASSHA INC February 2024, Jobs The Information Systems Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining, upgrading, and securing our information systems infrastructure. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and effective communication to ensure the smooth operation of our IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the organization’s information systems infrastructure, including hardware, software and networks. Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software components to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Monitor system performance and security, identifying and resolving issues proactively. Develop and implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data and protect against cybersecurity threats. Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide technical support and guidance as necessary.
Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and best practices. Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends in information systems and make recommendations for improvements or upgrades. Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the effectiveness of our information systems. Experience with managing and configuring Azure Active Directory for user authentication and access control. Familiarity with PBX systems and VoIP technologies. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of working experience in similar role
- Strong knowledge of information systems infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks
- Proficiency in system administration and troubleshooting across various platforms (e.g., Windows, Linux, etc.).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and tools for threat detection and mitigation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
