Form five Selection 2023 will take place on Saturday, May 4th. The government has announced the list of students selected to join form five in public secondary schools for the 2023 academic year. The selected students will be joining form five in January 2023.
The selection was made based on the 2018 National Form Four Examinations results. Students who scored Division I and II in the exams were automatically selected. The students who scored Division III were placed on a waitlist and will be offered places depending on the availability of spaces.
A total of 1,452 students have been selected to join form five in public secondary schools across the country. This is an increase of 462 students from last year’s selection.
The government has also announced that it will be increasing the number of places available in form five by 2,500 for the 2024 academic year. This is in line with its commitment to provide quality education for all Kenyan children.
