You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including company leadership, industrial and forestry managers and environmental specialists, to extract insights from complex data sets, produce reports and present actionable recommendations.
This position requires a strong analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collecon and Analysis:Collect, clean, and validate data from diverse sources such as wood processing operaons, remote sensing, field surveys, harvest reports, and operaonal databases.
- Apply statistical techniques to analyze large datasets and identify trends, patterns, and correlations relevant to forestry operations and performance indicators.
- Develop models and dashboards to extract insights and forecast future trends in sales revenue, production, forest growth, timber yield, and other key metrics.
- Support the implementaon and roll out of GRAS Datawarehouse and Monitoring Soware.
- Reporng and Visualizaon:Create visually appealing and informave reports, dashboards, and presentaons to communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders at various organizaonal levels.
- Design and implement automated reporng systems to streamline data collecon, analysis, and reporng processes.
- Collaborate with cross-funconal teams to idenfy reporng requirements, establish KPIs, and develop standardized reporng templates.
- Decision Support and Strategy: Collaborate with forestry managers and senior leadership to provide analycal support for strategic iniaves, operaonal planning, and resource allocaon.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to address specific business quesons and provide aconable recommendaons.
- Parcipate in project teams and contribute data-driven insights to support connuous improvement efforts and drive operaonal excellence.
- Data Quality and Governance:Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implemenng data quality checks, validaon processes, and data governance frameworks.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of data repositories, data diconaries, and data management best pracces.
- Stay informed about industry trends, advancements in data analysis techniques, and emerging technologies to recommend process improvements and innovations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as data science, statistics, forestry, or a related discipline. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience (X years) as a Data Analyst, Reporng Analyst, or similar role, preferably in the forestry or natural resources sector.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and experience with data visualizaon tools such as Tableau, Power BI or other
- Strong analycal and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex datasets. Solid understanding of stascal concepts and methodologies.
- Excellent communicaon skills, both verbal and writen, with the ability to present complex data findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and collaboravely in a team environment.
- Knowledge of forestry operaons, resource management, sustainability or environmental science is a plus.
