Computer Teacher at SETCO March 2024, Jobs This is a full-time on-site role for a Computer Instructor located in Tanzania. The Computer Instructor will be responsible for delivering computer courses to students at Serengeti Tourism College-SETCO. This person will also prepare course materials and assessments, track student progress, and communicate with academic staff and students regarding course content and delivery.
SETCO is the only local institution in Serengeti District Offering Hospitality and Tourism related courses to young women and men in the area of Serengeti Ecosystem, Mara region and other side of the lake zone at large since 2006 to date. SETCO enjoys a historic good relationship with Singita Grumeti Reserves (SGR&GF) & Four Seasons Safari Lodge, Serengeti(FSSL) and other Tourism enterprises within Serengeti Ecosystem which has seen the college benefiting in a number of things including but not limited to placements for students, employment opportunity to our grandaunts, advice and support on various issues regarding the college welfare.
Qualifications
Diploma or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Previous experience delivering and developing course materials relevant to the computer field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate technical content to non-technical individuals and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Strong organizational and time management skills
Effective problem-solving skills, ability to think critically, and work independently
Previous experience and passion in the computer education field is a plus
