BACHELOR OF ARTS IN ORIENTAL LANGUAGES – ARABIC
This programme aims at equipping students with Linguistic and Arabic language knowledge and skills.
What and how will you learn?
Students shall be introduced to different linguistic theories and various rules that govern Arabic language. Learning modalities will include lectures, tutorials/seminars, and assignments, practicals and self-studies.

Direct entry qualifications
Two principal passes in languages, one must be in Arabic language.
Equivalent entry qualifications
Diploma in Education with an
average of ‘B’ or a GPA of 3.0 and
four passes at O’ Level..

Graduates in Arabic stand a great chance to be hired by the government, NGOs and private institutions as Foreign Service Officers, Translators, Interpreters, Proofreaders, Language Analysts, Researchers, Immigration Officers, etc.
