JOB DUTIES
- Providing extension services in the development of livestock and its products;
- Treating livestock and providing information on diseases, treatment and food;
- Supervising the performance of Veterinary Attendants;
- Maintaining statistics and various livestock information;
- Checking the quality of livestock products;
- Managing animal welfare; and
- To do other tasks assigned to him by his supervisor for tasks related to his field.
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
Employing Fourth Form (IV) or Sixth (VI) graduates who have received veterinary training and awarded a Livestock Health and Production Certificate (NTA Level 5) from the Livestock Training Agency (LITA) or from any recognized college and the Government.
