KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries Withholding Tax deductions and uploading the same in the TRA System Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct
Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals Recording and filing cash transactions Managing fixed assets and maintaining a fixed asset register Maintaining accurate invoice processing and filing Petty cash and expenses reconciliation on a daily, weekly basis
Liaising with third-party providers, clients, and suppliers with a spending working environment i.e. TRA Updating and maintaining procedural documentation Writing & issuing cheques and TISS forms as and when required Proper reconciliation of dealership invoices and accounts Performing any other duties assigned by the management
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Work experience of 2-3 years as an Accounts Assistant or Accounting Clerk/ Diploma in Accounting or degree focused on accounting/ business administration/ finance/ economics Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
Familiarity with finance regulations Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software Organization skills Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
