Role Description
The Great African Foundation is seeking an Accountant. This is a volunteer hybrid role, implying that this is located in Arusha, with flexibility for some remote work. The role will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records and reports. The Accountant will ensure the timely delivery of all financial reporting requirements and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounting
- Working knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Tally
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Experience in non-profit accounting is a plus
