Open Positions and Description
1. Weights and Measures Officer II 20 Posts
- To examine, confirm, and modify measuring devices;
- To preserve and uphold standards of labor;
- to provide guidance on the usage and verification of measurement devices;
- To look into any violations of the law; and
- Carry out any additional tasks that his superior may assign him.
Qualification:
- Possessing a legal and industrial metrology bachelor’s degree, advanced diploma, or any other comparable credentials from an accredited university.
2. Assistant Weights and Measures Officer II, 10 Posts
- To modify measuring devices;
- To maintain standards of work;
- To gather equipment and working tools both before and after fieldwork;
- Carries out daily computer system backups and system startup; and
- Carry out any associated tasks that his superiors may assign him.
Qualification:
- Possessing a Legal and Industrial Metrology Diploma or any other comparable credentials from an accredited university.
3. Assistant Counterfeit Security Officer II
- Holder of an Ordinary Diploma in Law from recognized institutions.
4. Consumer Protection Officer II
- A civil engineering bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required, as is registration as a graduate engineer with the ERB.
5. Assistant Graphic Designer II, 5 Posts
- Possessing a Graphic Design Certificate or an Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) or Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) or an equivalent degree from an accredited school.
6. Proof Reader II
- Possessing a bachelor’s degree in linguistics, English, literature, or Swahili education with a major in linguistics, English, literature, or Swahili, or an equivalent degree from an accredited university.
7. Assistant Printer II, 3 Posts
- Possessing a Certificate in Printing or a comparable credential from an accredited institution in addition to a Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) or Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE).
