On behalf of the Institute of Rural Development Planning (IRDP), the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS) invites dynamic, proactive, experienced, and suitable qualified Tanzanians to fill the three (3) vacant posts mentioned below.
The Parliamentary Act No. 8 of the 1980s created the Institute of Rural Development Planning (IRDP), a corporate entity. This Act gives the Institute the legal foundation to become a major national center for training, research, and consulting services in the planning and management of rural development.
Open Positions and Description
1. ASSISTANT LECTURER (ECONOMICS) – 1 POST
- Possessing both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in economics. For a bachelor’s degree, the candidate must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 5, and for a master’s degree, a minimum GPA of 3.8 out of 5.
2. ASSISTANT LECTURER (LAND MANAGEMENT AND VALUATION) – 1 POST
- In possession of both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in land valuation, land management, and valuation. A minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 5 for a bachelor’s degree and 3.8 out of 5 for a master’s degree are required of the candidate.
3. TUTORIAL ASSISTANT REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLANNING 1 POST
- Possessing a regional development planning bachelor’s degree. At the bachelor’s degree level, the candidate must have a GPA of at least 3.5 out of 5.
