The Director of Serengeti District Council is pleased to announce only ten (10) vacancies for employment after receiving a new employment permit for the year 2023/2024 with Ref. No. FA.97/288/01/09 dated June 25, 2024 from the Permanent Secretary, Office of the President, Personnel Management and Good Governance. He therefore invites applications from qualified Tanzanians to fill the following vacancies:
Open Positions and Description
1. Village Executive Officer, III
- Candidates must have completed Form IV or Form VI coursework at Hombolo Local Government College or any other government-approved institution and hold a diploma or certificate NTA Level 5 in one of the following subjects: administration, law, social education, financial management, community development, or arts science.
2. Driver II
- Must possess a Class C or E driver’s license, have filled out Form IV, and have driven for at least a year without getting into an accident. VETA College or another government-approved college must have offered a basic driving course.
3. Assistant Record Keeping II 03 Posts
- Candidates must possess a Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Record Keeping from an institution approved by the government and have passed Form IV or Form VI.
4. Office Management Secretary II 05 Posts
- Candidates must have an NTA Level 6 Certificate in Accounting or a Diploma in Accounting and have completed Form IV or VI. They also need to have learned how to use office computer applications like Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, email, and Publisher from a government-approved school and have passed the 100-word per minute Swahili and English shorthand test.
